Equiniti, one of the fastest-growing IT Services companies in the UK and Ireland, has been awarded a place on the UK government’s G-Cloud iii framework, allowing public sector organisations to purchase its services directly through the “cloud”.

G-Cloud iii is designed to make it easier for government and suppliers to work together by establishing the CloudStore, a marketplace of cloud-based services which can be used by public sector buyers to compare and easily procure services to meet their needs.

Equiniti will offer solutions within the Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) categories covering central government, local government and the health sector, expanding on the current proposition it provides via the initial G-Cloud framework roll-out and G-Cloud ii.

The offering within these categories includes case management, complaint management, HR and payroll, time and attendance, mobile solutions, revalidation management, CRM, digital forms processing and electronic document and record management.

Equiniti also provides specialist application hosting services for Microsoft Technology Products through its PaaS offering covering Microsoft SQLServer, SharePoint and CRM.

G-Cloud iii is designed to make it easier for government and suppliers to work together by establishing the CloudStore, a marketplace of cloud-based services which can be used by public sector buyers to compare and easily procure services to meet their needs.

As well as listing its own technology solutions on the framework, Equiniti has provided a cloud-enabled platform for other software suppliers to have their applications listed on the framework.

Nigel Farr, Director, commented:“Being awarded a place on G-Cloud iii is excellent news for us. We specialise in Government solutions, so this is a key method of reaching our target market as it not only identifies us as a supplier of high quality solutions, but offers potential customers in the public sector a straightforward way of purchasing our services and accessing new technologies that can help them perform more efficiently and at a lower cost. We were successful in terms of selling during the two previous G-Cloud roll-outs, and are confident of doing so to an even greater extent through our expanded G-Cloud iii listing.”
